The ongoing saga of the University of Missouri Continues …
Students issue second set of “demands” after they made international headlines in November 2015 which resulted in the resignation of the University President, Jack Wolf.
- CS1950 released a second list of demands to school administrators Wednesday.
- In their letter they accuse the administrators of working with state legislators to “uphold white supremacy.”
Here’s CS1950 tweet on their 2nd set of “demands.”
Our demands have been reissued with reasoning as to why meeting them is imperative. https://t.co/wPQljx9FkP pic.twitter.com/6hzXt49kqs

Not everyone was happy.
One Mizzou Alum had this to say:
@CS_1950 You are ruining our University. That’s not me being racist or ignorant, it’s the truth.

@LeviRiley22 @CS_1950 I am a supporter of Mizzou and this has had a huge impact on recruiting, enrollment and donations. Enough said.

Other Viewpoints:
@CS_1950 you’re not just an embarrassment to the university of Missouri, you’re an embarrassment to an entire generation.

.@CS_1950 STOP BEING SO CONCERNED ABOUT YOUR FEELINGS AND START BEING CONCERNED ABOUT YOUR ACADEMICS. How’s that for changing the world?

According to CampusReform.org, the group also linked to a slideshow with the six original demands they say have not been met, including a demand for diversity and inclusion curriculum to be vetted “by a board comprised of students, staff, and faculty of color,” a demand the percentage of black faculty be increased to 10% by the 2017-2018 school year, and a demand for a program to increase retention rates for “marginalized students.”
