Beyoncé Cites Scheduling Conflicts As The Excuse To Back Out Of Clint Eastwood’s Movie

Could this be the Bette Davis moment when Davis passed up starring in “Gone With The Wind,” one of the most successful American movies of all times? There are a lot of stories of actors who passed up roles that turned other people into legends or stars. Whether you agree with Clint Eastwood’s politics or not, the man in a darn good director and producer, winning Academy Awards for Best Director and Producter of the Best Picture for his work in the films “Unforgiven” (1992) and “Million Dollar Baby” (2004).

As reported by the Examiner, with the presidential election only three weeks away, Beyoncé, one of President Obama and Michelle Obama’s biggest supporters, has announced that she will not be part of Clint Eastwood’s (a Republican who spoke for Mitt Romney at the RNC) re-making of “A Star is Born” due to “scheduling conflicts.” The “Single Ladies” singer should know this is the excuse you use when you want to avoid a date!

Almost two years ago it was announced that Clint Eastwood would be teaming up with Beyoncé, the 31-year-old singer whose networth is $300 million, for the remaking of “A Star Is Born,” a tragic story of a young performer who falls in love with a conflicted fading star who sabotaged his career with alcohol addiction. Beyoncé cited the innocuous excuse of “scheduling issues.” She said in a statement to E! News: “I was looking forward to the production of A Star Is Born and the opportunity to work with Clint Eastwood. For months we tried to coordinate our schedules to bring this remake to life but it was just not possible. Hopefully in the future we will get a chance to work together.”

Beyoncé and her rapper husband, Jay-Z, are perhaps the closest celebrities to President Obama. At a $40 million fundraiser for the president in mid-September hosted by Beyonce and Jay-Z, the president said Beyoncé was the “perfect” role model for his two daughters: “To J and B, thank you so much for your friendship. Beyoncé could not be a better role model for my girls because she carries herself with such class and poise and has so much talent.”

President Obama was criticized for tweeting about the Beyoncé and Jay-Z party when 20 of America’s embassies were burning world-wide and our Libyan Ambassador Christopher Stevens was raped and murdered along with three other brave American men. Now the President and Hiliary Clinton are involved with a cover-up scandal of epic proportions.

It Is No Secret That Beyoncé Is Completely Taken With The Obamas
