In an interview with MTV posted 27 September 2012, Jay-Z says some pretty amazing things. We believe that MTV completely missed the headline on this one. Their headline was “Jay-Z’s Work With Obama Hasn’t ‘Settled In’.” Marvel at what President Obama’s biggest Hollywood supporter says,

“I Don’t Even Like The Word Politics. It Implies Something Underhanded. I think we need less government to be honest with you. I think a lot of people are serving their own agendas. So they just argue back and forth and they think about their next term. It’s more about themselves than about serving the people. We rarely get anything done because they are going back and forth with whatever they are doing. So I am not really into politics. But I support Barack. Because I have to support that vision. I gotta respect the man … you know the first black president ever.”

Why did MTV miss the headline? They don’t see any discrepancies or the conundrum or the disconnect between what Jay-Z is talking about (sounds like he could be a spokesman for the Tea Party) and what he is doing (supporting the biggest government spender in history).

Is Jay-Z going to be our second African-American president? Interesting thought. If he lived what he just said, he could be running against the man he idolizes.
