President Obama Gears Up For More HollyWood Promotion Via Social Media
President Barack Obama’s re-election campaign is launching a “celebrity portrait shot” social media drive, reports Reuters today.
It is reported that between 20 and 30 actors will be taken to the production studio in Culver City, California to be photographed in black and white for about 15 minutes on Friday. Reuters reports some of the actors to be photograhed are KaDee Strickland from “Private Practice,” Ashley Fink of “Glee,” and producer/actress Penny Marshall.
The celebrity photographs will be unleashed in the social media world, such as Twitter and Facebook, with links to the Obama campaign’s website.
Reuters also reports that, “[The actors] are all going to be holding grass leaves to reflect the theme, and they will wear black shirts and dark jeans or pants.” GRASS LEAVES?!
Obama Has Made Almost Daily Headlines With Lavish Celebrity Fundraisers and Endorsements
Recently Natalie Portman, Jessica Alba, Scarlett Johansson, and Eva Longoria (four of Obama’s most ardent and active Hollywood promoters) hold their hands over their hearts pledging allegiance for Obama in the recently launched “For All” campaign.
